Fiac Workhorse WR3HP-50P-1 

The WR3HP-50P-1 is a sturdy 50 litre compressor with a heavy duty fabricated tank, heavy duty 3HP motor, and a single phase machine. Some of the mains features of the new Workhorse range include a cast iron cylinder block, with the 50 litre air receiver built to latest European Standards 09/105 CE. The 3HP motor is also a hard wearing industrial motor with overload protection, and has twin cylinder pumps. Pre-fitted after-coolers are now as standard on these machines and it has aerodynamic flywheels for efficient cooling.

The compressor itself is belt-drive allowing for a longer lifespan over a direct drive machine, but the added benefit of the slow running pumps gives lower noise levels and again, adds to the longer life expectancy of the compressor in general. The WR3HP-50-1 has automatic stop/start controls and is UK built & tested to latest European standards by the supplier,
